This is a great opportunity to take the family out on the water. We can customize this trip for either sightseeing, lobster demos, fishing, or a mix. We stay closer to the harbor for those who are worried about being out too far. Typically, these trips start midday or evening if you want to fish; that way we can locate the fish bite during the longer trips to maximize your catch probability.
No lobster demos on Sundays
2 Hours: $400 (6 People Max)

Our offshore trips run start at 6am. We will typically travel out anywhere from 15-26 miles out depending on the bite. All legal fish will be filleted for you at sea or at the dock. You are encouraged to bring a lunch, snacks, and beverages. Large coolers please keep in your vehicle please. Captain Nick has been taking anglers of all ages, abilities, and disabilities striper fishing in Wells fishing for over 15 years, out of beautiful Wells Harbor, Maine. A native of Southampton Massachusetts, Nick has been traveling to Maine since he was a toddler. Spending summers in Ogunquit as often as his Grandmother would take him, he grew to love the area. Fishing with his brother and grandfather off the Ogunquit bridge and Wells Harbor jetty, Nick developed a passion for striped bass fishing.
During his studies as a fish and wildlife major at Paul Smith's College in New York, he was introduced to Capt. Whit of Captain Satch and Sons Fishing charters Wells Maine and started employment there in 2010. Starting as a mate, he quickly earned the title of Maine Tidewater Guide and then earned his U.S.C.G. 50 ton Master Inland license.

Meet our newest mate Link. This greenhorn will be learning the ropes and hopefully not tugging on them. He will be available on on select dates as he learns the way.

Added to the roster in 2024, Miss Penelope, a 2001 Shamrock 270 Open. With plenty of room to fish all around, portta-potty, and high sides, you can fish comfortably. Very excited to be in this millennium with her and hope for many years of enjoyment.

Miss Helen returned back to the fleet in 2025. She will be used part time in 2026. Don't let the looks fool you, she is old and loud but can catch the fish. Porta potty available for those who dare.

We are located on the main pier just past the Harbormasters office. Free parking is available in the dirt lot on the left driving down to the harbor with the boat trailers. Bathrooms are located just across from the dirt lot in the grey outbuilding. Across from the dirt lot is Wells Harbor Park, which is nice park with playground along the tidal river. Great for those who are not joining the crew fishing or if you are looking to do something once you leave the boat like bird watching, trail walks, or swimming.
